Substance Abuse Program
OASAS Vocational Services

The OASAS Program assists individuals with substance abuse/ alcoholism problems to re-enter the workforce. To ensure continuity of care, our staff will assist individuals in their efforts to obtain self sufficiency through employment by coordinating with all relevant service providers. Staff members are trained in both addictions and employment services.
- In partnership with the consumer, the treatment program, and the NCP vocational counselor, an individualized employment plan will be developed
- NCP can assist individuals in moving from public assistance to self sufficiency
- Services can be provided on site at the treatment program, as well as at the Northeast Career Planning offices
- Focus is always on recovery issues related to the world of work
