Supported Education Supported Education is a community mental health program which utilizes the psychiatric rehabilitation model to assist individuals with choosing, getting and keeping educational goals. Through the use of individual support, the (potential) student will identify his/her educational needs in an effort to formulate a specific school goal. A plan will then be developed focusing on time frames and methods for achieving the goal. The outcome of this process is success and satisfaction in the individual's chosen educational setting. The Supported Education Program assists in all phases of your educational goal. These include researching the right educational setting for you, assisting with the application process, obtaining accommodations and securing financial aid. Emotional support is provided throughout the program and we teach you the tools necessary to be successful. Supported Education, if needed, can "walk with you" through your entire educational endeavor, and then assist you in transitioning to a job goal.
