Work Center Employment
provides a supportive and structured environment to individuals with barriers to employment – and the one-on-one attention that can help achieve their goals. As many Work Center Employees have had limited work experience, the sheltered workshop enables individuals an opportunity to earn a paycheck and put then on the path to meeting their vocational goals.

All Work Center Employees are assigned an individual counselor, and consideration is given for any necessary accommodations including a part-time schedule, extra training, or recurrent support.

Under the Medicaid Waiver program, pre-vocational services are provided to individuals interested in employment opportunities, but who may not be ready to obtain competitive employment within the next year.

Pre-vocational services are aimed at providing opportunities for individuals with limited work-related skills to participate in age appropriate tasks that will enhance their skill set and prepare individuals to obtain gainful employment These services include the necessary support and education for obtaining and retaining employment.
