NCP Offering Free Computer Classes at Crandall Library in Glens Falls

Northeast Career Planning is pleased to announce that Crandall Public Library, located in Glens Falls NY, has contracted with our organization to teach computer classes to the public. Crandall Library is one of 30 New York State libraries to receive the federal Broadband Technology Opportunities Program grant.  The purpose of this grant is to assist individuals who are unemployed or under-employed improve their computer skills.  Classes now being offered include:  Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel as well as Typing and Data Entry.  Our curriculum also offers:  Resume Workshops, Job Application Assistance, and Interview Preparation, as well as Individualized Career Counseling sessions.  Open labs provide additional time slots for practice and/or individualized questions and answers.  Our classes are held five days a week Monday through Friday with some evening classes.  All classes are FREE!

To register for class, you should call the Crandall Library @792-6508, extension 266.  Pre-registration is required.
