Addictions and Rehabilitation Services

  • Assists individuals who have substance abuse/alcoholism problems in reaching their employment/training goals while enrolled in an NYS  OASAS licensed treatment program.
  • Consults with over twenty-five local treatment programs to make vocational services an important part of their programs.
  • Staff trained in both substance abuse/alcoholism and employment issues.
  • Maintains contact with local Departments off Social Services and related staff to assist individuals in moving from public assistance to supporting themselves.
  • Covers a nine county area
    • Albany
    • Schenectady
    • Rensselaer
    • Saratoga
    • Columbia
    • Greene
  • Services provided on site at the treatment programs as well as any Northeast Career Planning offices.
  • A sample of our services include assessment, career exploration, job seeking skills, job placement, and job retention activities.
  • Focus is always on recovery issues related to the world of work.
